When a self-inking stamp is the right mount
Choose self-inking when the stamp is used every day: accounts, reception, warehouse goods-in, or a school office. The mechanism flips the die onto the ink pad after each impression, so staff do not touch ink.
A traditional wooden hand stamp is the better fit for occasional use, craft, or a large rocker that brands paper bags. Those mounts are on the custom rubber stamps page.
What Irish offices usually put on the die
Two to five lines is the usual layout: trading name, address, phone, and a CRO or VAT number if you want it on invoices. “Received”, “Paid”, and “Copy” stamps are the same mount with shorter text, so they sit at the lower end of the price range.
