Banner pricing depends on size, material, finishing, and urgency. As a rough guide:

• Medium outdoor PVC (e.g. 4ft × 8ft): from around €60–€90

Cheaper banners often use thinner PVC or skip reinforced hems. That is fine for a one-day event but poor value if you plan to reuse the banner. PVC vs mesh vs fabric — which material do you need?

PVC banners are the standard for shop fronts, walls, and medium-term outdoor promotions. Waterproof, vibrant, and available in 440gsm (budget/event) or 510gsm (longer outdoor life).

Mesh banners have perforated holes for wind to pass through. Use them on fences, scaffolding, building wraps, and exposed sports grounds where solid PVC would tear at the eyelets.

Fabric banners suit indoor backdrops, premium exhibitions, and photo walls. Roll-up banner film is a different material again — stiffer, designed to retract into a stand. Do not use roll-up graphics outdoors.

Roll-up banners explained

Roll-up (pull-up) banners are portable displays with a retractable base, support pole, and carry case. Standard widths are 850mm and 1200mm. They are ideal for:

For fence installs in wind, use plenty of tie points and consider mesh. For wall mounting, even tension across all eyelets prevents sagging and creasing.

Artwork and design tips

Banners are read from a distance. Follow these rules:

• Use large, bold text — a headline, one supporting line, and a contact detail
• Supply vector logos (PDF, AI, EPS) for sharp printing at any size
• WhatsApp logos are often fine — we check resolution before print
• QR codes work well but need to be at least 3–4cm with clear space around them
• Less text beats more text every time
