Foamex PVC boards are designed for indoor use and can last for many years in normal indoor conditions. They are resistant to warping and fading when used indoors away from direct sunlight.
2Can I use Foamex boards outdoors?
Foamex boards are primarily designed for indoor use. For short-term outdoor events (1-2 days) they can be used, but for permanent outdoor signage we recommend our weatherproof alternatives like Dibond or Correx boards.
3What is the difference between the thickness options?
3mm is our lightest option, perfect for temporary displays and smaller signs. 5mm is our most popular all-purpose thickness, offering a good balance of weight and rigidity. 5.5mm provides enhanced durability for premium displays, while 10mm offers maximum rigidity ideal for free-standing displays.
4How are Foamex boards mounted?
Foamex boards can be mounted in several ways: with double-sided tape for lightweight applications, with pre-drilled holes for screw mounting, with specialized hanging systems, or simply leaned against a wall for temporary displays. We can add pre-drilled holes or metal hanging systems to your order on request.
